Anthoney Burney

Mr. Burney was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. He and his wife ministered to over 75 children while they were serving at the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home. He was a member of the Red Bank Quarterback Club. Mr. Burney was a devoted Tennessee Titans fan,

He was preceded in death by a son Dante Burney, brother, Billy Williams, Jr. and a sister Beverly Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Wendy Burney; sons, Justin Burney and his fiancé, Lauren, and Antwon Burney; parents Delores and Billy Williams and Eddie Burney; brothers, Dwight (Melissa) Burney, Kenny (Sybil) Williams, Mike (Pam) Williams, and John Williams; sister-in-law Sonya Williams.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 16 at 2:00 pm at the Oakwood Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Clark officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 central time on Friday at the Cabin Row Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Southside, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-8 Wednesday.
