Anthony was preceded in death by his father, William 'Sonny' Rodgers; son Terrence Steele; and brother, Vincent Jones.

Those Anthony leaves behind to cherish his memories include his mother, Winifred Battle Slay of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Katrina and Sabrina Carter of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Jalen, Kayla, Vontary'us, Kynedi and Veyentae, all of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Patricia and Diannia, both of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Lester Owens of Chattanooga, TN; aunt, Barbara Rodgers Landry of Pontiac, MI; uncle, Trey (Brenda) Battle of Chattanooga, TN; nephews, Eric, Derrick and Ricky; niece, Breanna; cousins; other relative and dear friends.

A Visitation for Anthony will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404,

A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm.
