Arthur was employed with Wheland Foundry. He loved Baseball and playing in school, also loved watching sports.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Mary Alice Hatten, Jerry Harden Sr., brother Ervin Scott. Grandmother Annie Richardson; grandfather Hearl Hatten Sr., girlfriend Cheryl Scruggs.
Arthur is survived by his children Marvin L. Scott, Ternae Hatten, Cordirrus Birt, Sr., Sherri Foster, sister,Bobbie ( Tony) Davis; grandchildren Jaylon, Mason, Myles, Malachi, Mekhi, Deshon, Cordirrus Birt, Jr and Ternace Beamon; brothers Jerry ( Vicci) Harden, Jr; aunts Ann ( James ), Leona ( Andy) Rosa ( R.L.), Helen Readus and Doris Hatten; several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins; close friends Billy, Gerald (Red) Martin, Charles Houston, Henry ( Hank) Mellon, Michael Seay, Chester McConnell, Dennis Stroud, and many more friends and loved ones from De’long St and his neighbors on Anderson Ave.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 9-11 am at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Franklin- Strickland Chapel.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Friday in the funeral home Chapel with Pastor Elder Dr. Eric D. Sims, Sr officiating.
Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
