She previously worked as a cook and waitress at the Biscuit Box and Golden Gallon.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, John Arch and Maudie (Bell) Hill Sisk; brothers,John Paul (Wanda), James Clifford (Betty), Jerry Lee (Theresa), Donald Ray(Buck), Michael Dewayne and Mike; sisters, Helen Smith Hooker, Peggy Jeanette Sisk; and daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Nelson.
Those Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lora (John) Lewis; son, Michael 'Travis' (Laura) Holder; sister-in-law, June Sisk; several grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will be placing the ashes on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Holly Creek Baptist Church, 422 Holly Creek Cool Springs Road, Chatsworth, GA 30705.
