She was the daughter of the late Silas and Edna Fletcher and was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ernest Reel, 2nd husband, Leon Strickland, daughter, Kimberly Tant and sister, Martha Looney.
Barbara was a former employee with Chattanooga Bakery. She was a member of Ooltewah United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her three children, Pamela Fletcher, of Pompano Beach, FL, Angela Boyd, of Apison, TN, Ernest Reel, Jr., of Pikeville, TN, 10 grandchildren, 17, great-grandchildren, 8 siblings and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday at Ooltewah United Methodist Church with Rev. Dwight Kilbourne officiating. The family will hold a private burial.
