Beverly Ann Mack

Beverly Ann Mack, a beloved mother, granny, and friend, peacefully entered Heaven to be with her Savior on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 at the age of 84. She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, deep love for her family, and a life marked by grace, strength a devotion.

Beverly was born on March 30, 1942, in Kansas City, Kansas to Charles “Otie” and Thera (Samuels) Williams at Bell Memorial Hospital. She attended Dunbar North Elementary School, Northwest Junior High and graduated from Sumner High School in 1960. Beverly completed her undergraduate degree at University of Kansas – “Rock Chalk Jayhawk…KU!” A lifelong learner, she later earned a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Phoenix.

In October 1965, Beverly met the love of her life, United States Air Force First Lieutenant Oliver Mack. They married on November 20, 1966, at Antioch Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas, beginning a devoted partnership rooted in love, faith, and family. Together, Oliver and Beverly shared thirty-two meaningful years, building a loving home for their family through the many moves and transitions of military life.

Oliver T. Mack preceded her in death on April 6, 1999. Beverly carried this loss with quiet grace, becoming the unwavering anchor for her family, exemplifying profound resilience during a difficult time.

Beyond her role as a military spouse, Beverly had a fulfilling career serving her community as a social worker. She served as the Director of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross in Sierra Vista, AZ for 14 years. She worked for DCS, SEABHS, and Mary’s Mission before retiring.

Beverly was a faithful member of New Jerusalem Community Church, under Bishop Tommy Simpson, where her faith and service remained central to her life.

Beverly is survived by her three children, Dyron Mack, Kendra Gutierrez and Kirsten Mack; her son-in-law, Bobby Gutierrez; and her beloved grandchildren, Sienna Mack, Cole Gutierrez and Luke Gutierrez. Nothing made Beverly happier than spending time with her grandchildren who brought her endless pride and joy. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Beverly is reunited in Heaven with her husband, Oliver Mack, her parents Charles “Otie” and Thera Williams; and her brother Charles Williams, Jr.
