Billy was the Church of God faith. He loved his children and loved to bear and deer hunt. Billy retired for TVA.
Billy wa preceded in death by his parents Wiley Ross Sutherland and Geneva Louise Johnson Sutherland; daughter Tina Sutherland and son-in-law Ronald W. Mize.
Billy is survived by daughter Catherine Mize of Nashville, TN.; son Billy Joe ( Cynthia) Sutherland,Jr.of East Ridge, TN; two sisters Faye (James) Doss of Sand Mountain and Linnie Jean Williams of Signal Mountain; brother Wiley Grant Sutherland, Jr. of Signal Mountain.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 1-3 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Franklin Strickland Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel.
