Bonnie Jean Frazier, age 90, of Chattanooga, TN peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, August 8th, 2022. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 27th, 1932 to Pearl Isaac Bisby and Lola Mae Bisby.
Bonnie was married to the love of her life, Leslie Maurice Frazier on December 17th, 1949 in Georgetown, Texas, and faithfully loved him for 72 years. They lived a life dedicated to the gospel of Jesus Christ as missionaries with Baptist International Missions Inc. for most of their adult lives including 21 years in Japan.
She loved spending time with and cooking for her family and was loved dearly by her children and grandchildren. She had the gift of making everyone in her life feel special and loved. Bonnie had a green thumb and a large garden where she loved to plant and grow flowers. Her flowers brought her joy and it was common to have her walk you in her garden to show off her new blooms.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Guy Frazier. She is survived by her husband Les Frazier, her sister Shirley Moon, her son Mike (Rachel) Frazier, her daughter Pamela (John) Waters, 7 grandchildren: Bonnie Marie Frazier, Lauren (Grady) Clark, Justin Frazier, Connor Frazier, John Waters, Ansley Waters, and Corey Waters. 1 great grandchild: Danica Frazier.
A celebration of life service will be held at Stanley Heights Baptist Church, 1512 Mc Brien Rd Chattanooga, TN 37412 on Friday, August 12th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37421.
A private interment will be held for the family only.
