Buddy (Howard T.) Sartain, age 61, of Chattanooga went home to his heavenly home Wednesday, May 08, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 15, 1952 in Talladega, Alabama to the late Howard & Virginia Sartain.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and worked as an electrician with I.B.E.W. Local #175 and was in electrical sales for many years.
Buddy was a loving husband, father and friend. He never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. He loved playing music and played in several bands in the Chattanooga area.
We are so thankful God has been with us all the way. We will see him again one day on the other side.
He leaves behind his loving wife of twenty years, Linda; son, Trey; sister, Pat (Reid) Montgomery of Bluffton, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Jeanie (Corey) Hilburn, brother-in-law, Richard (Miriam) Gossett; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 10, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel in celebration of his life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
