

Mrs. Pappas was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a teacher of the Ladies Sunday School Class. She began as a Legal Secretary in 1979 for Thomas, Mann & Gossett, LLP and was most recently employed with Husch Blackwell, LLP.
Her father Roland Hawes preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Andrew E. “Andy” Pappas; her mother, Joan Hawes of Felixstowe, England; two daughters, Mandy (Conway) Curtis of Felixstowe, England; Tammi-Louise (Don) Potter of Valdosta, Georgia; a son, Jonathan (Debra) Pappas of Chattanooga; and a brother, Keith Hawes of Crediton, England;
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Euler officiating.
Interment will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday at 10:00 a.m.
