Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her friend, Holly Crabtree.
Those left to cherish her memory include Carrie and Jamie Hughes, Chris Williams, Danita Storey, Emma Perkins, Valentina Duckett, Sharronda Duckett, Veronica Biffle, Rita Smith, Latina Shepherd, Walter Lee, and several special friends, who all faithfully loved and cared for Carolyn for many years.
To know Carolyn was to love Carolyn. Her smile and laughter were contagious to those around her. She had her own unique way of loving those she cherished. She was a lover of all things pink, purple, and shiny. She loved dressing in her own colorful fashion style and had a special love for kitty cats.
Carolyn was strong, determined, and a fighter, always finding her way through her struggles when life was hard. She knew how to enjoy the simple things in life. Although she was gone far too soon, Carolyn will always be remembered for the love she gave, the humor she brought, and her desire to have fun.
If Carolyn could tell you a couple of things today, they would be, “Thank you” to each person who loved and cared for her despite the challenges she faced, even when times were tough, and “Holly hit me.”
Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 Mccallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404, US, on August 31, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on August 31, 2026, at 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will take place at Chattanooga Memorial Park, 501 Memorial Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37415, US, on August 31, 2026.
