Cathy was a 1980 graduate of Red Bank High School, and also attended Chattanooga State.
She was committed to her faith and attended Temple Baptist Church. Cathy enjoyed gardening, line dancing, art, singing in the church choir, spending time with family and friends and taking part in numerous volunteer opportunities.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father, William ‘Bill’ Welch; brother, William ‘Billy’ Welch, Jr.; and sister, Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Vincent.
Cathy leaves to cherish her life and memories her daughter, Mary ‘Liz’ Elizabeth Welch; mother Marjorie Welch; grandchildren; uncles; aunts; cousins; nieces; other relatives and dear friends.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Home-Franklin-Strickland Chapel.
The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
