Charlie was my friend. When I worked with him at the CPD, you knew you were going to smile when he was working! A very giving and loving person. Our daughter always wanted to go to my work to see Charlie, when she was small. She had open heart surgery when she was 7, and after shift, Charlie & Phil Wilkins came to the hospital to see how she was. Just so happen, they were just bringing her down the hall from surgery into PICU, and poor Charlie's eyes filled with tears, as they passed by taking her into unit. His love and concern, she felt, and she always smiled, too, when we talked about our friend Charlie.
He will be missed by those who loved him. You'll miss his presence, but his love for you will live on in your hearts.
Prayers for peace as you prepare to say "See you later'. May his sweet soul rest in peace.
