Charlie Norman

Charlie Norman was born into time on March 10th, 1938 in Boligee, Alabama to Grant Norman and Mattie Henley Norman.

He was employed by Seaboard farms where he worked in maintenance for many years. Mr. Norman was a faithful member of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church where he served on the usher board and was a member of the Men’s choir.

Among those who proceeded him in death include his parents, brother, Deacon Willie Norman, Paul Norman; sisters, Annie Norman and Sintter Moore.

Mr. Norman departed this world on Wednesday March 30th, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Loving and Devoted Life partner & caregiver, Mattie Clopton; sons, Grayson (Reba) Wilson, Clifford Norman and Jeffery (Donna ) Evans; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Arma Dean Norman of Eutaw, AL., Annette Wilson of Chattanooga, TN.; brothers, Benjamin, Cleophus and Earnest Norman of Boligee, AL.; great uncle, Tom Henley of Boligee, AL.; sister-in-law, Shirley Norman of Chattanooga TN; A host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

A Visitation for Charlie will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm with Evangelist Edna Cross officiating and with Eulogist, Pastor Kelvert Scruggs.

Interment will be on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4016 Tennessee Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37409.
