One of my memories of Christie is how she loved everybody. Always gave you a hug. She loved her church family and they loved her. She will be missed by many.

I knew Christy as the sweetest and most positive person to come in contact in my life, she showed everyday how selfless she was by giving the world her love and care. She would always start with “give me a hug” and beat you to asking “how you were doing” first. When the time at work we were getting rid of blankets, linen, & other miscellaneous things, she would ask me to save a couple aside to give to the orphanage and children in need. To me that is truely a one of a kind person that touched my heart to see a hero in action. I’m gonna miss her always because she was my coworker, close friend, & motivator.

Christy, Even though we weren't friends long, I felt like I knew you all my life. I had a strong bond with you. The laughs we had were the best. Eating out and just visiting. I know I will see you again , and we will pick up were we left off. Prayers for your special family/friends at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church , and Kala & Thomas Brooks and Randy & Damien Brooks.

Many childhood slumber parties together. I am going to say that the one thing I know is that she might be pleased not to have to hit the big 6-0! Rest In Peace Christy in the arms of the LORD. Love, Ellen
