Mike and Tony:
Jackie and I would love to be there with you today to honor your families and our good friend, Wayne. Of course our memories go way back when he and I were softball teammates at Brainerd Baptist Church and involved in so many things together as part of that congregation. Jackie and Jeanie were also great buddies.
Your Mom could and would try to make something comforting and uplifting, even in bad times and circumstances.
Love,
Glenn

Glenda and I are so sorry for your loss. Wayne was one of our Very Best Friends. It saddens us to know we won't see him in this life again to share a meal or have a conversation or even to play another round of golf. It is very comforting to know without a doubt that Wayne is with his Heavenly Father and with his sweet Jeannie. I have never met a better example of a Christian man than my brother Wayne. He touched our lives greatly and our lives are enriched by it. We will continue to pray for the family.

I am so sorry for your loss, but what a blessing we have had to have shared in his walk with God! Christ was his life and that was seen in his love for his wife and his family and his gracious demeanor towards all he encountered. Wayne was the epitome of a gentleman, someone who always made you feel good after meeting with him.

I have known the Brown family many years. Wayne was the oldest of all the kids. He worked for us many years and was a hard working, honest guy. I am very sorry for his death. I will not be attending his funeral due to the virus. Best wishes to his whole family. Don and Joann Duggan

I only know Wayne from senior golf. On one occasion he said I was one of the kindest people he has ever met but I think he was only seeing a mirror of himself. Rest in glory my brother I am better just from meeting you.

Wayne Brown was a gentle and kind brother in Christ! He was a faithful husband, father, & friend. Heaven has been enriched by his entrance because of his love for Jesus. He was & is loved by so many, and we will miss him. Dear family...having moved out of the Chattanooga area, I regret my absence at the celebration of Wayne’s home going. My condolences and prayers are for you.

Dear Ones, I am so thankful for the years our lives have touched. Thankful to see how two boys grew into wonderful men because they were taught good Godly principles from parents who loved them dearly and then their children’s children. They were an example of walking in Christ’s love together. None of us are perfect but they were close. What a sound legacy of faithfulness is yours. He joins the love of this life now in heaven together to enjoy an eternity worshiping the God they loved. My love and prayers are with each of you.
