Cynthia Acuff

Dr. Cynthia Reneau Acuff, of Chattanooga, TN, departed this earth on December 15th, 2021. Born on April 13th, 1956, Cynthia served the Lord by bringing life into this world as a neonatal nurse practitioner, teacher of future nurses, and author. She is preceded in death by father, Lowell Acuff and nephew, Hunter Acuff.

She is survived by mother, Sidney Acuff; ex-husband, Lee Hartman; daughter, Tiffany Ellard and her husband William; ex-husband, Dennis Michaluk; son, Steven Michaluk and his wife Alexandra; grandson, Liam Ellard; brother, James Acuff and his wife Lisa; niece, Katelyn Acuff; and best friend, Scott Tinker.

Cynthia asked for her ashes to be scattered in the Atlantic Ocean at Daytona Beach, Florida.

A celebration of Cynthia’s life for family and friends will take place on Sunday, December 19th at Manchester Park Church of Christ, 835 Mauldeth Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37415 starting at 2pm.
