Dale worked in Transportation and Logistics most of his career.
He is preceded in death by his wife Karen and his parents Donald and Dorothy Prouty.
Dale is survived by sons Kenneth (Donna), Steve, Scott (Jackie) and Robert; five grandchildren, Jon (Amanda), Michael (Sarah), Matthew (Rahney), Alex and Zach; four great-grandchildren, Joshua, William, Emma and Nicholas; sister Jean Acklin.
There will be an inurnment at Potomac Cemetery in Danville,
Illinois.
