She was the daughter of the late Charles Edgar McGhee and Esther Pinion McGhee and was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Evelyn Longley.
Dorothy retired from Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company after 48 years of service. She loved spending her time working in the yard and being with her family.
Survivors include two nieces, Alicia (Kenneth) Wilson, of Albertville, AL, Candace (John) TeHennepe, of Chattanooga, TN, nephew, Stephen Earl Longley, of Cleveland, TN, and brother-in-law, James Earl Longley, of Collegedale, TN.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday at Plowman Cemetery in Apison, Tennessee with Pastor Bob Dasal officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
