Dorothy T. Riddle, 98, of Apison, TN, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, she was retired from Chattanooga Parking Stations as a Bookkeeper and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She was the wife of the late John T. Riddle and was also preceded in death by her brother Robert S. (Helen) Thaxton; two brothers-in-law Ducan (JoAnn) Riddle and Deems S. (Maude) Riddle. Survivors include her son, John T. (Sandra) Riddle, Jr.; grandsons, John T. (Kim) Riddle, III, Christopher (Melissa) Riddle and Michael (Marcelle) Riddle; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Samuel, Wren and Cora; nephew Deems S. Riddle; neice Martha R. Canada. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Chattanooga, TN. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Chattanooga Memorial Park with Father Gary Callahan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. before the service at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 8214 East Brainerd Road.
