Emma Diane Hamilton

Diane was born on January 24, 1948 in Gainesville, GA. She loved to sit on the porch and watch the birds; her favorite was all the different colored hummingbirds. She had a green thumb and could make any yard look beautiful. She enjoyed reading, but lived for her kids and grandkids. Her family was always her main focus and she made sure that everyone felt loved and accepted.

It was well known that if you came to eat at Diane’s house, you would never leave the house hungry. If you didn’t bring dishes for leftovers, she would send you home with all of hers!

Diane was preceded by her father, Damon; mother, Mozelle; and her son, Brad. 

She is survived by her husband, Terry; daughters, Tina and Jenny; granddaughters, Kristy, Tiffani, Kaylee, Amber, Jessika, Paige, and Hannah; great-granddaughters, Elliana, Ky'leigh, Sophie, Chloe, and Riley; sister, Barbara; and her Nephew, Stanley; other relatives and dear friends.

We are respecting Diane's wishes of no memorial service. She was very Covid aware as well as she did not want people to gather in mourning to remember her. Instead, we will have a celebration of her life in the Spring of 2021 for all of her family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, we request that you open your hearts and help a stranger or friend who is in need. This is the best thing you could do to honor Diane's heart and love of others.
