Emmett was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Elizabeth Wilkey, and his siblings: Clarence, Arnold, Leonard Wilkey, Ray, and Ralph Lloyd, and sisters Helen Giles, Edith Revis, Wilma Dill, and Mildred Stinnett.
Emmett is survived by his beloved wife, Bernice; daughter, Donna Wilkey; son, Carlos (and wife Anneke) Wilkey; and grandchildren, Keshia and Adam, Ashlen and Daniel, Caenan and Hannah. He will be deeply missed for his love, kindness, and dedication to his family.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 14th from 1:30 - 3pm at The Grove Church.
A funeral service will be held at The Grove Church, in Dayton on Friday, February 14th at 3:00 pm .
Interment to follow in Rhea Memory Gardens.
