Ervin was born September 4, 1957 to Calhoun "Big Pete" and Gertrude "Peggy" Ross. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Peter James Ross.
Ervin was a 1975 graduate of Howard High School. He was formerly employed with Chattanooga Glass Co. and Mr. T's Pizza.
He is survived by his two sons: Martels Carter and Avrin(Paulina) Ross. Eight grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. sisters:Mary Ann Ross, Drusilla Ross, Valerie Thomas, Phyllis Ross and Cleona(Tony)Ross Hatten. brother Kimothy(Kimberly)Ross all of Chattanooga TN. uncle Frank Williams. special thanks Mr. T several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held April 4th at 4:00pm 2026 in the Chapel of Advantage Funeral Home Franklin Strickland Chapel.
