2/2/2025 Just found out about Gene's passing. So very sorry to hear. Known him and Juanita since elementary, was best friends with Randy and Teresa. Gene was always working on something around the house. This was, to me, the best family ever.

As a neighbor and a friend I cherish the moments and memories I had with Eugene and of course his lovely wife Juanita. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. He was a hard worker and full of knowledge when it came to just about anything. 
A lover of his dogs I remember Rocky and Katie his care and concern for them. Taking care that the UPS driver did not speed down the driveway. He would always wave as I passed by the house.  Always ready for a challenge whether it was mechanical or getting up on a ladder to clean the gutters. 
Eugene, Juanita and I shared many meals together whether it was just being neighborly or celebrating a birthday. 
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He made sure that everybody was taken care of and he was a very devoted husband to Juanita. 
Until we see you again Eugene, may you rest in peace knowing that you had a life well lived and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

So sorry to hear of Gene’s passing I not only was a coworker with him at Combustion Engineering.  but was a close friend and I also am from Whitwell.  I knew him and the family well and always knew him to be kind, honest and friendly to all his coworkers.

Gene was my great uncle. He  was a loving Christian man.  He was devoted to his wife and family.  Several  things that I remember about my uncle Gene was that he was such a quiet individual and that he was talented with his hands. I know that he will be missed by many, but especially by my Aunt Juanita. Prayers for all the family.

A loving husband who devoted his life to making sure my aunt and his family were happy and taken care of.  Gene was a faithful servant of God. I know he is rejoicing in Heaven. Juanita and family, it was a sad morning when we received the news about Gene’s passing.  The obituary describes a a man who lived life well…a hard worker, devoted to serving God and loving his family.

Gene was a good Christian example and is now gone to his reward.  He will be missed dearly by family and friends, but the physical pain has ended.

We will keep you and family in our prayers.

Dearest Teresa, Juanita,  Randy and family! I am so sorry for your loss! I have many fond memories of our times camping , sharing meals and just life!  
      Gene was always so kind and soft spoken! He was so helpful to my Dad and took such good  care of Juanita!

Juanita and family, my sincere condolences go out to you all on the death of Gene.  I met Gene and Juanita through my husband Eddie Reachard and remember him as a kind and generous man and like a brother to my Eddie. Gene actually “loaned” Eddie his car in 1974 for him to take me out on our “first date”!  
I always thought of Gene as soft-spoken and kind and how blessed Eddie was to have him as a close friend.  I think they will meet in Heaven and talk about the “good ole days”!

Gene has always been a devoted husband and member of the Church of Christ! He has always been a wonderful Christian example to our church family at Signal Hills and wonderful long time friend alone with his devoted wife, Juanita.
