Evelyn Louise Leamon

Born on May 11, 1953, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Evelyn spent her life in the Chattanooga/Hixson area and had called Ooltewah home for the past 36 years. She was a dedicated employee of Shaw Industries in Ringgold, Georgia, where she worked faithfully for many years.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, John T. Leamon; her mother, Elmina Mull; her brothers, Ray Gene Leamon, RC Leamon, Johnny Leamon, Edward Leamon, Kenneth Leamon, Marvin Leamon, and Michael Leamon; and her nephews, Berry Leamon,Johnny Leamon, Marty Leamon and Eric Leamon.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Junior Eady, Amy Haynes (Michael Haynes) and Misty Cagle (Derek Cagle)her grandchildren, Michael Burton, Ryan Haynes, Dylan Cagle, and Alex Cagle and great granddaughter Hadley Cagle; her sister Carolyn Leamon and her brother Terry Leamon(Helen Leamon) and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Evelyn lived her life with faith love and devotion to Christ and her family. She will be remembered as a hardworking, strong, and loving woman whose greatest joy was her family. She found peace and happiness outdoors, whether she was tending to her garden, watching wild life or spending a day fishing. She also enjoyed gatherings with family over a good steak dinner and cookouts, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Her kindness, resilience, and generous heart touched everyone who knew her, and her love will continue to live on through those she leaves behind.

Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find comfort in the memories she gave us and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
