Gary Lee Smith of 2700A Parkwood Ave., in Chattanooga went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2020 following a long illness. Gary retired from Comtrust Federal Credit Union as “Senior VP of Consumer Lending.” Years prior, he was employed in the banking industry. Gary was loved and respected by all who knew him. His beautiful singing voice was a blessing to many who enjoyed his special inspiring solos. “Heavens Choir” will have a beautiful addition.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Colleen G. Smith, one brother, Lamar (Martha) Smith of Hixson, one nephew, Steve (Lisa) Smith of Soddy-Daisy, and two great nieces.
There will be a private graveside service.
