George Steven Guffey

George was employed with McKee Foods as Head of Maintenance. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

George was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Rhea McBee; and father, George Louis Guffey.

Those George leaves behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Deborah Guffey; daughter, Kellie Mabry; son Sam Guffey; daughter, Erica McDonell; brother, Roger Guffey; sisters, Linda Guffey and Starlet Guffey-Kilgore; 7 grandchildren; 2 sons-in-law; 1 daughter-in-law; other relatives and friends.

A Visitation for George will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

A Graveside service with Military Honors will be on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404, with Paul McDonell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the family to Deborah Guffey.
