George Thomas Rowell

Mr. Rowell was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He also retired from the IRS following many years of service.

He dedicated his life to his country and his family. George obtained his master’s degree in public administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Several siblings preceded him in death.

He leaves behind his two sons, Jeff (Heather) Rowell of Harrison; Wes Rowell of Chattanooga; and one grandson, Chase Rowell of Chattanooga; the family wants to honorably mention Emily Keef and her family for all the love help and support that they have provided throughout the last year.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 12-1 PM at the East Brainerd Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM at Hamilton Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest with his loving wife.
