Some of my favorite memories growing up were spent with Gilda and Frank. We saw them a few times every year in my childhood. Between giant breakfasts and endless ice cream, their house was my favorite. Gilda made sure everyone was taken care of. During a pivotal time in my life, she was a positive, beautiful influence that never knew how brightly she shown to those around her. 

I am not sure if my message was entered.  Gilda was a wonderful friend to me.  I met her when we went into the 5th grade.  She and I were always the best of friends.  She could make you laugh at so many things.  Those memories will last forever.  Some of the fondest was when she met Frank at the old Lakeview High School.  They immediately fail in love.  We double dated two wonderful guys in our life and married them!  I will always cherish and remember many funny moments of our childhood and adult years.

She was one of the sweetest women you could ever meet!  She made us feel like part of the family from the first  time we meet her!  I will always treasure the way she and Frank welcomed us into there home!  You felt the love and laughter from them and just enjoyed spending time with them,  her laugh was definitely contagious!  Praying for your family now as they will miss you so,  but also rejoicing that you are dancing with Jesus today!  Love the Freeman’s 

I was so blessed to have this woman as my mother.  She taught me so much about life. She taught me how to live and she also taught me how to die.  She was so brave and fought so hard gracefully. She held strong to her faith       My heart aches for her and I miss her terribly.I am so thankful for all the great memories I have of her. One of her favorite places was the beach. She would always say there is a cure for cancer in that ocean.   Mom I love you and I know your celebrating in heaven now.  One day we will be together again. 

Our family has been blessed to have known Gilda for over 20 years. She had the sweetest spirit, to know her was to love her. 
  I’ve never known Gilda to want attention drawn towards herself, in fact she would shy away from it. 
  Her laugh was infectious. You couldn’t help but to laugh along with her.
  If visiting you’d better make sure to come hungry because she wasn’t going to let you leave without eating🥰. Our family has so many fond memories of our visits over spring and fall breaks. What fun we had. 
  We find comfort in knowing one day soon we will see her again.

Mom loved, loved, loved to play with her grandkids. She would always play whatever we would throw at her and never complain. She wanted to be with her family and have the those belly laughs. She had the best laugh. Miss her terribly but I know she is flying high with the angels. Love you Mom! 

My nanny was always one to play games, she loved the most funniest ones ever. 

As I take this time to share a memory of the greatest Mother-in-Law in the world my heart breaks for the family. There are no words that can describe what a wonderful soul Gilda (aka MOM) had for all those who she loved and came in contact with. She always had a smile on her face and loved everybody especially her family. For the eight years that I got to know her I realized what a blessed man I was to be able to call her Mom.  The many nights that we sat at the dinner table and play cards and just enjoy each others company was an honor. May you rest in peace where there is no more pain . I'll see you again.

There are many memories of me and her. My top favorites are when we made her do tongue twisters. We would laugh afterwards of how she tried pronouncing words!
