Glenda Masters Morris, age 63, a loving mother, wife, sister, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 14, 2019 at her home in Ooltewah. She was always kind, compassionate and supportive to her friends and loved ones and will be greatly missed.
She was born September 2, 1956 in Duluth, Georgia to the late Robert Glenn Masters, Sr. & Geraldine Walker Bell.
Mrs. Morris attended Newnan Springs United Methodist Church and was formerly employed with Brainerd Hills Baptist Church for a number of years.
Her brother, Robert “Bobby” Masters, Jr., and brother-in-law, Tom Morris preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Rick Morris; sons, Derrick Morris of Ooltewah, TN and Matt Morris of Atlanta, GA; brother, Tracy Masters of Roswell, GA; brother-in-law, Steve (Celina) Morris of Mexico City, Mexico; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She had an open heart for all, especially children and those less fortunate.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Rev. Jim Elder officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Newnan Springs United Methodist Church, 78 Monanaw Ave, Rossville, GA 30741; or the Salvation Army at www.csarmy.org.
