

Harold was in the United States Army as a L.T. Colonel for over 20 years, airborne, Ranger, Green Beret Infantry Military Assistance Command MACV, Bronze Star, The Vietnamese Medal of Honor. He worked as a lawyer for over 33 years. Harold was in the Disabled Veterans Association and Sierra Club. He was an avid reader from Stephen King to Stephen Hawking, the greenest of thumbs, Lou Rawls, Jazz, Paul Simon, Roberta Flack, Santana and Richard Pryor fan.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife Gracie Shaw; parents Lewis and Eva Brown; daughter Elizabeth Brown; brothers and sister Wallace, Rita, Missie, Sweetie, Matthew and Elwood.
Harold is survived by his Sons Harold Brown, Jr. of Portland, Oregon and Ernest ( Deborah Vranesh) Brown of Seattle, WA; grandsons Alexander Scott of Honolulu, HI and Kaylen Brown of Seattle, WA; countless nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
Graveside service will be held in Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2 pm at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
