He was retired from U.S. Pipe where he worked for over 20 years.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Ina and Jesse Cox; brothers, Edward Cox, William Cox, Grace Cox, Jimmy Lee Cox, J.C. Cox, Manson Cox; sisters, Adlonia Nelson, Mary Alice Cox, Ina Jean Cox, Loriane Mosely; stepson, Frederick Moore; and grandson, Vandryl Cox.
Survivors includes wife, Dorothy Jean Cox; sister, Juanita Bell of Fort Dodge, Iowa; sons, Harry ‘Peanut’ Lee Cox, Jr. (wife, Rosalind Cox), Jeremy Cox; stepson, Robert Moore; daughter, Ina Cox; grandchildren, Courtland Cox, Meka Cox, Jada Cox and Amir Cox; great grandchild, Te’Veon Cox; step grandchildren, Frederick Moore, Jr. and Malachi Moore all of Chattanooga, TN.
He also leaves behind a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and close friends that love him dearly.
Memorial service will be private.
