Hazel Thompson was called home to the Kingdom of Heaven to enjoy eternal life on April 20, 2012. Born on January 8, 1918, in Adrian, Michigan, to Clinton and Rose Faler, she was the third of their four children. A dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker, Hazel enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and growing beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She was a woman of strong faith, and loved her Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Carl, her parents, and three siblings. At age 94, Hazel is survived by her four children, Dale (Carolyn) Thompson, Eileen (Timothy) Ostrander, Lyle (Sandra) Thompson, and Delores (Frederick) Schnarr; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren, and two more “in the oven”. Hazel also has numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will remember her pretty smile and sincere heart.
