Helen L. Patterson

Helen Lapchuk Patterson passed away on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 with her family at her side. Helen was born November 22, 1922 in Chester, Pennsylvania. She lived in Miami, Florida for over 40 years and then in Ocala, Florida for over 20 years. She spent the last 3 months in Chattanooga, Tennessee as a resident at Elmcroft Assisted Living. To Helen, life was a gift and she lived it to the fullest.

Survived by her daughter Helen Lisbeth Patterson Kellam of Chattanooga, Tennessee, grandson Patrick John Kellam of Marietta, Georgia and brother Peter John Lapchuk of Pennsylvania. Pre-deceased by her husband, John A. Patterson, her father and mother Wasyl and Paranka Lapchuk, and sisters Alice Lapchuk Spanier, Eleanor Lapchuk Morris, and Anne Topster.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:30 am Saturday, November 10 at the East Brainerd Chapel.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Saturday, November 10 at the East Brainerd Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home with Father Jim Vick officiating. Burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Ocala, Florida.
