Mr. Harden was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran stationed at Pearl Harbor.
He was formerly a member of East Brainerd Baptist Church and was retired from the United State Postal Service after 46 years of service. After retirement he worked 15 years for Bi-Lo.
His wife, Doris I. Harden preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Keith Harden and brother, Phillip Harden both of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Rev. Art Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 p.m. -1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
