Jeanie Marie Hilburn

Jeanie Marie Hilburn, age 68, of Ringgold, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 in a local hospice care center. She was born March 4, 1955 in Chattanooga to the late Marie & Harry Gossett, Sr. Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hilburn; brother, Bobby Gossett, Sr.; infant sister Mary Ann Gossett; brother-in-law Buddy Sartain; nephews, Rick Gossett and Phillip Gossett; and great-great-nephew Zachery King Cooper, Jr. She was a 1973 graduate of Brainerd High School. She worked in the optical industry for many years. Jeanie was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid beach-lover. Survivors include her son, Corey Hilburn of Ringgold; brother, Harry (Miriam) Gossett, Jr. of Chattanooga; sister, Linda (Dave) Sartain Eisenreich of Chapin, SC; sister-in-law, Rita (Greg) Foote of Ringgold; nieces Debra (Randy) Stallings and Holly (Justin) Kitchens of Chattanooga; nephews, Trey Sartain of Charleston, SC, Bobby (Corie-Jean) Gossett, Jr. of Soddy Daisy and Michael (Meagan) Gossett of Calhoun, GA; several great-nieces, and great-nephews, and cousins; and several fur-babies. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
