Jennieve Yarbrough

She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church for over 50 years where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. She was previously the Resident Manager of Casa Loma Apartments in East Ridge. She volunteered for Contact and weekly took cakes and pies to the East Ridge Nursing Home.

Mrs. Yarbrough was the widow of Ernest Porter Yarbrough Sr.

She is survived by two sons, Robert (Lynne) and Porter Yarbrough and one daughter Shonnye Lynn Yarbrough. Grandchildren are Jill Yarbrough, Kristie (Mark) Danby, Michele (Ronnie) Bull , Chad Howard, Adam Howard, John Howard, Michele Pressnell, and Jackson Pressnell, Kristen Carter and Brian Carter. Great Grandchildren are Garrett Bull, Fany Bull, Travis (Erika) Bull, Jill (Brian) Knam, Haleigh Shell, Hayden Knam, Javalynn Bull, Colin Bull and Anna and Markie Danby.

Funeral services will be held at the new Chattanooga Funeral Home on E. Brainerd Rd. on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011 at 1:00 pm.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 2, 2011 at the funeral home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Pastor James Julian of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church will be officiating. The interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery next to her beloved husband Ernest. In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to be made to Spring Creek Road Baptist Church Missions Budget.
