She was born on August 10, 1933 in Alma, MI. Joann spent 40 plus years running her own business named Flame Guard. She never met a stranger. She was loved by all who knew her and was deeply appreciated by her children.
Joann is preceded in death by her daughters, Toni Okeefe Gardner and Joy White Gardner.
Survivors include sons, Teddy Gardner and Jay Gardner; daughter, Susan Gardner Cooney; grandson, Johnny Cover; granddaughters, Jennifer Okeefe and Jamie Okeefe Barlow; brother Neal Cooper.
