Joe Rinzo Heard aged 76, gained his wings on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at his residence. He was a longtime member of New Home Missionary Baptist Church and was employed with US Pipe for over 8 years. Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting and many other outdoor activities.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mittie Heard; sister, Marilyn Calhoun; niece, Beverly Graham and son-in-law, Vincent Mikes, Sr.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Lavonia Heard of Chattanooga; father, Lorenzo Heard of Chattanooga; son, Anthony (Michelle) Turner of Hayti, MO; daughters, Joann Mikes of Chattanooga and LaQuanna (Jeff) Nelson of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Bobby (Irene) Heard, Willie and Freddie Heard all of Chattanooga; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for Mr. Heard will be on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga.
Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
Interment will be in Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery, 1954 Greenwood Rd, Chattanooga.
