In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Beall.
Over the years John held many Engineering positions with various companies.
He was a lifetime member of the Highland Park Baptist Church, now known as the Church of the Highlands.
A private service was held and a future Celebration of Life service is planned.
