

He was born in Queens, New York to the late Joseph and Angelina Fardella. His parents and Marilyn Fardella precede him in death.
He was a store manager at Service Merchandise in Ozone Park, a former security guard in the Pan Am building in Manhattan, New York, he worked at Tropicana Field (where they made OJ) in Manatee County and for the Hillsborough County School System in Florida, he was also the owner of Johnny’s Hook N Grill.
John was a man of many gifts, a heart of gold, and a presence that inspired all. He was always there to offer love, support, or a joyful smile. He would light up any room he was in and was always the life of the party. He loved entertaining, cooking, watching baseball and listening to Frank Sinatra.
We are broken, yet resilient and long for the day that we will see you again, and we are grateful for the promise of eternal life. You will be greatly missed, we love you Papa!

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 20 years, Brenda Rogers Fardella; children, Joseph (Jodi) Fardella, John (Miren) Fardella, Marlene (Adam) Bomar; stepson, Nathan (Chastity) Rogers; Papa’s grandchildren, Rebecca and Jenna Fardella, Alaia Fardella, Talon Rogers, Ella Bomar, Madden Rogers; siblings, August (Fran) Fardella, Joseph (Linda) Fardella, Laurie Fardella and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga funeral home. A celebration of life will follow in the chapel at 6:30 pm with Pastor Kenny Green officiating.
