The one that got away. What a awesome guy. He called me eggie, I worked at Mervs for a couple of years. Always a warm heart and beautiful smile. He really missed his mom, it is a comfort to know they are together. The world is a little darker without him.

My heart aches over this. Johnny and I were on the same dart team for years. Over 34 years ago we met.We have been friends ever since. My children loved Uncle Johnny, he would give them quarters all the time and play with them.Concerts, Dart Tourneys and Music events Johnny would call and we would go. He was a kind, loving , true and loyal friend, he will be deeply missed! Hug Momma Spallone for me Johnny. My prayers and thoughts for his family.

I enjoyed working with Johnny at Krystal Aviation, he always wore a smile and had positive attitude!
He always called me Pammy! We were friends on FB and I'm so glad he came to the airport reunion last year. He will be missed by many.

I worked with Johnny at Krystal Aviation. He was a great guy and friend. We lost touch for several years after I left the airport but reconnected a couple of years ago on Facebook. Through FB, we had a small airport employee reunion last summer and Johnny was there. Man, he hadn't changed a bit. Still the fun, loveable goofball he always was. Sure gonna miss him. Johnny, tell Momma Spallone hello and give her a hug for me. I know you've really missed her. Love ya brother.

I am so, so sad about this. I met him when he was about 18. He had a big heart, even as a teen. I reconnected with John about 18 months ago. We talked on the phone often, for hours. I believe he knows that I helped him talk about his health, and that I was a support person, no matter the issue. He was a great support to me too, regarding my own health. I will miss his silly sense of humor and his determination to stay connected to the 70's and the 80's. No modern music for John!! He cared so much for his family. He missed his Mother intensely. Rosanne, if you read this, he loved you and looked up to you. I am so sorry for you! Since you just lost a brother. I am saying prayers for the Spallone family. I am too far away to attend his funeral. I regret that. I miss John so much, already.

Johnny and I went to High School together. We use to ride the city bus from downtown and sit together. I would get off at Eastgate stop and he continued on to Hickory Valley stop. Over the years, we kept in touch. Johnny was a great friend to have. I always loved it, when he joined my husband and I for dinner. John and I loved us some frog legs, we could eat them until we couldn't have another. He spent last Thanksgiving at my home and I will miss him dearly. He had an open door for all. He never met a stranger, he was a great man to have as a friend. I will truly miss Johnny Spallone. He left a place in our hearts, that remains, waiting to see you again, my friend. And I promise to catch a fish for you. Blessings on your journey thru eternity. And know you are missed greatly, buddy! Dad said he loves you, and he is broken hearted that you are no longer with us here. We shall all meet again. I love you, Johnny! You will be remembered often. Hugs and kisses for now. Mmmmwaaaah.... 👍 I will never forget your laughter.
