Jonnie Glynn Kroeger Allen passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of February 17, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born on November 22, 1941, in Chattanooga and she graduated from Tyner High School in 1959. After graduating high school she was runner-up in the Miss Chattanooga and won Miss Congeniality. She lived in Cleveland, Tennessee until the seventies and since then she has resided in East Brainerd.
Jonnie loved gardening and playing with her Shih Tzu, Scooter. She spent the last twenty-seven years with her soulmate, Jim Bain and with her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her partner, Jim Bain; her daughter, Stacy Wilks; her sister, Francelia Allison; her granddaughter, Taylor (Shawn) Chester; her grandsons, Jake Johnson and Clayton Stieffel; and her precious great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Denton Kroeger and Connie Frances Kroeger; and her daughter, Kelly Wilks.
