She was a resident of Chattanooga for 20 years where she was a party planner for her own business. Jovita loved to dance and sing karaoke. She was the life of the party, and Jovita loved shopping. She was also a very beloved wife, mother, grandma, and friend.
Jovita is preceded in death by Pedro Martinez and Elisea Martinez.
Survivors include husband, Jonathan Cruz; daughters, Michelle Martinez, Ailyn Martinez, Mya Martinez, and Shiloh Martinez; sons, Gustavo Martinez, Jovany Martinez, and Ethan Martinez; mother, Consuelo Bermudez; sisters, Consuelo and Martha; and brother, Rafael.
A memorial service for Jovita will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 Mccallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
