Katie Louise Dagley was born on April 15, 1948 and passed away on October 1, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar & Lonia Brannon; siblings Idabel, Joyce, Maryann, Jack; and her husband Tommy Frank Dagley.
She is survived by her daughters Tammy Sue Zirk (spouse Ronald C. Zirk) Tonia Louise Smith (spouse Michael W. Smith); and her son Paul Lee Scantlin (spouse Rebecca Williamson Scantlin). She has 5 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
Katie "Louise" was a vibrant spirit throughout her life. She was known for her strength, determination, stubbornness and at times, a fiery temper. You never had to guess where you stood with her, if she thought it...she said it.
Louise was a free gypsy spirit that could never be tamed. She loved moving and seeing the world. She could never stay in one place for long.
After retirement, Tom & Louise decided to continue traveling by driving a semi truck. They spent years together traveling across the states. Even after Tom's passing, at age 72, Louise still had a spirit of adventure, still wanting to move and explore and was limited only by her health, not by her desire for adventure and change.
Throughout Louise's life, her main focus was her husband and children. They were her life and her best friends. Traveling across the states so much..all they had was each other. The 5 of them were one for all, and all for one.
Louise will be missed by many. Even she wasn't aware of how many lives she truly touched.
She is loved forever and will be missed every day.
