He was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi to the late George and Florence Gill. His siblings, Gus, Warrene, Golie, Maxine, Janie and wives, Betty Dale and Doris preceded him in death.
Larry was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from TVA in financial operations.
Larry was a good natured, sweet, friendly, funny man who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Martha Richards Gill; his son, David Gill, daughter, Beth Pulliam (Barry) and grandsons, Boone and Bram Pulliam.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow in the chapel at 3 PM with Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating.
