1 week. 1 week ago I was waiting & praying for a miracle that you'd make it through this & be ok. 1 week ago I was looking to God for the answers as to why it has to be you,why must it be your family & friends hurting because we're saying goodbye,why did it have to be you that doctors couldn't save? 1 week ago life (& the reality of death) hit me like a freight train once again because I knew I'd never see that little green car driving down the road & wonder if it's you,I'd never get a Facebook message or comment to see how we're doing or telling me how grown & beautiful Allyvia is,I'd never get to hear you say "alright,I love you baby girl/sweetie, I'll talk to you later". 1 week ago I wanted to go see you again,1 more time,regretting I couldn't see you more often but 1 week ago you were laying in that hospital bed surrounded by many loved ones wishing it were just a dream,praying everything would just be okay but it wasn't because 1 week ago was your last day. 1 week ago you were welcomed home,to the last place you'll ever have to move,1 week ago lots of people cried over your departure but many smiled when you arrived,1 week ago you left this world for a brand new & extraordinary life full of joy, freedom & love! As much as I (& MANY others) miss you I am thankful that you are living your best life & no longer in pain with ANYTHING.

Leah, you were such an amazing person. I learned a lot from you and you were always there no matter what was going on. You loved your son and then Ryan came along and you loved him so much. He loved you so much that I'm pretty sure he thinks that you hung the moon and stars. You were like another mom to me and I love you. You are missed dearly here and I can not wait to see you again one day. 

Leah I just wanna start with you were an awesome grandmother. that’s what myself and the kids thought of you. You were there for me when I thought no one rose was you will be missed tremendously but please continue to watch over us. Earth doesn’t feel the same with out you. But I have started to understand you haven’t gone anywhere you are still with  us wether it’s mentally or physically you have never left thanks for all the great times we had together I miss you Leah. But I’m not good at goodbyes so until we meet again😊

I really enjoyed coming to her house and visiting her and her son and play games with her and her son and Leah was like a second mom to me and her son is like a brother to me 

Leah was my best friend.  We had lived together about 10 years but I had known her from the time I started work at what was then called M and M Plastics. We worked hard on this job but we had fun too. Then after they closed we worded together again at Convergy's  we got to work from home with this job.  If we had a problem we would just ask each other. We did life together.  Movies, Games , Cards , swimming , walking. . We went to church together. We did a class that told us who we are in Christ. And this opened our eyes. She Loved God. She was a happy person. And yes she could be stubborn. If she put her foot down that was it.  But I loved her for it all.  I will miss her. Everything I do reminds  me of her.. I will see you when I get home. 

I worked with Leah, at Life Touch and at the Chattanooga Times free press,   Leah  was always smiling, kind, helpful,  a hard worker.   She was a loving  MOM she loved her family so much, and when her grandchildren came into this world she was extremely happy.  Leah was a beautiful, caring, loving, honest person.   Rest in heaven Leah.  

My aunt was 10 years older than me and a very important part of my life as I entered my preteen years and she exited hers. Very intelligent and wise beyond her years and available for a big hug and sage advice...as needed. Ebullient, pleasant personality and a rarely revealed singing voice. Beautiful person who I loved and will miss. World isn’t the same Aunt Leah. 

I had just switched my schedule to work on Sundays at Wilkins.. I sat in my usual spot and here comes Leah putting her stuff in the chair next to me.. I thought oh great I’m not going to have anything in common with this lady.. I was wrong!! Leah and I had more in common than we thought!! Once we got to know each other she would always ask me about my kids and my husband and I would ask her about her family.. she always had a smile on her face and kind word to say!! Eventually she got moved to a different project so she didn’t sit by me much after that.. I never thought to see if she had a Facebook so I could add her bc it would have been nice to keep up with her after I left Wilkins.. she was so excited for my new job opportunity bc she knew that we were struggling!! I love you Leah and I know you are resting in the arms of Jesus!! Praying for your family at this most difficult time!!

Leah was one of the sweetest and most cheerful persons we had ever had the pleasure of meeting. Many good memories from the past.Leah your beautiful voice will be singing with the angels and greatly missed here on earth.

I worked with Leah  at Wilkins she was so kind, caring, compassionate and thoughtful.  I will miss her.

She was a wonderful FREIND .We hung out in our younger years she was the BEST ..gonna miss her dearly..

I was 10 years older but once she graduated from High School, we became close and had so much fun together.  She was so stubborn but she had the biggest heart.  Was so humble and kind.. I am truly going to miss her.
