Margaret Lois Southern

She was preceded in death by Parents, Guy & Paralee Smith; Husband, Jim Southern; Brothers, Eugene Smith, Bobby Smith, Ray Smith, Charles Smith; Sisters, Helen Hubbard, Ruth Roberson; Sister-in-laws, Dean Smith, Freddie Smith, Virginia Mock; Brother-in-law, Guy Dodd and JC Roberson; Daughter Cindy Mitchell; Son-in-Law Preston Highsmith, Daughter and Son-in-Law Laura and Bill Arden, and granddaughter Patricia Mitchell.

Margaret is survived by her children, David Moore, Sr. and wife, Valerie, Dianne Highsmith, David Southern and wife, Pat Southern; Brother and Sister in law - Don & Mary Helen Smith; Sister in laws, Irene Hembree , Joyce Smith; Grandchildren, David Moore, Jr.; Erin Wilborn, Stacey Southern, William ‘AJ’ Arden, Josh Moore, Jason Moore, Jamie Southern, and several great-grandchildren.

She was blessed to have many special Nieces & Nephews along with bonus families that have been instrumental in her life. They blessed her with many phone calls and visits that brightened her day.

They did so much to make her laugh, talk to her, and always there to help if need be.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
