Marilyn Elaine Ivey

She was a 1988 graduate of Brainerd High School. Marilyn worked for years as a sales associate at Walmart and Goodwill Industries. She was a lover of dogs, dolphins, and the Christmas holidays. Marilyn loved her family and was a wonderful aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Sharon Ivey; sister Diane Beasley; brother, Doyle Ivey; and niece, Cabrisha Bonds.

Survivors include sisters, Doris Ivey and Susan Ivey of Chattanooga, Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews; and special life-long friends, Yolauda Walker and Barbara Bruce.

A visitation for Marilyn will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 Mccallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 1724 Mccallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404. An interment will occur Monday, November 27, 2023 at Chattanooga Memorial Park, Chattanooga, TN.
