

She was a graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to business school. She was an Organist, Poet (who published several books) and Bookkeeper at East Lake Baptist Church and Pediatric Diagnostic for many years.
May Jo also delivered Meals on Wheels in Catoosa County.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, the late Thomas 'Kenneth Gleghorn; as well as her parents, Morris and Isobel Harding both of Rossville, GA; and her son, Kenneth 'Ted' Gleghorn of Rossville, GA.
Mary Jo is survived by her 2 daughters, Katrina (Billy) Brewton of Trenton, GA and Kristi Gleghorn of Ringgold, GA; as well as her 4 grandchildren, Zach (Courtney) Evans and Noah, Nathan and Aubree Johnson all of Ringgold, GA; she is also survived by her 5 wonderful great grandchildren; and many many lifelong friends all of whom adored her up until the end.
A Visitation for Mary Jo will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Franklin Strickland Chapel, located at 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404,
The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 am.
Burial will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens South, 325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741.
